Côte d'Ivoire has tremendous potential in the mining, oil and energy sectors.
Its large mineral reserves make it a fertile ground for exploration and mining, as demonstrated by the recent discovery of a major world-class gold deposit in the north-west of the country. Its attractive mining code and commitment to responsible mining are attracting a growing number of investors.
Côte d'Ivoire also has a sedimentary basin rich in oil and gas resources. The commissioning of the Baleine field and the recent discovery of the Calao field have strengthened its position on the world stage. The country is well on the way to achieving its energy revolution. Public-private partnerships are being encouraged to provide universal access to electricity and ensure the transition to renewable energies

Côte d'Ivoire is now on the threshold of a major economic transformation. Under the leadership of President Alassane Ouattara, the country aims to make the mining, oil and energy sector the new spearhead of its growth.
The country has embarked on an integrated national policy for its mineral and energy resources, which takes account of their synergies and complementarity
It is against this backdrop that the first edition of SIREXE, the International
Extractive and Energy Resources Exhibition, will be held. For the first time in Africa, a
trade fair will bring together the three sectors of Mining, Oil and Energy.
Organised every 2 years, SIREXE aims to become
the essential platform for exchanges and collaboration
for all those involved in mining, hydrocarbons and energy in Africa and around the world
It will enable businesses, investors and political decision-makers to meet, share experiences and forge new South-South and North-South partnerships.

We invite you to take part in the 1st edition of SIREXE, which will be held from 27 November to 02 December 2024.
Under the patronage of H.E. Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, SIREXE is organised by the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy
The event will comply with the norms and quality standards of the biggest international trade fairs. Exhibitors and visitors at SIREXE 2024 will benefit from the brand new facilities at the Abidjan Exhibition Centre. Its organisation has been entrusted to 2A CONSULTING.
